Plus is $9 a month or $84 a year; Pro is $19 a month or $180 a year. Either keeps a Voicecape subscription active, and you can cancel at any time. One subscription activates on up to 3 Macs at a time — a work machine, a personal one, and a spare slot for the day you replace one.
Every paid plan uses the same real-time cloud recognition in the same five languages. Plus and Pro differ in Recording minutes; Team adds seats and company administration.
The trial starts the moment you first launch the app. No card, and no separate trial build: it is the app, with a clock on it.
When the 14 days are up, Voicecape stops inserting text. Your settings and your personal dictionary stay exactly where they are — on your Mac — and they are back the moment a subscription starts.
For a new Plus or Pro subscription, sign in, choose the plan and monthly or yearly, and continue to Paddle when checkout is available. Paddle is the merchant of record and issues the receipt. After payment, the subscription is attached to your account and can be managed in the billing console.
Cloud dictation uses the network while you speak, and the bundled on-device model takes over when there is none. The subscription itself is re-checked quietly in the background and holds for 90 days from the last successful check — a laptop that spends a month off the network does not lock itself.
A full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, and having used the app during those days does not disqualify you. The refund policy says the same thing at more length, including what happens to the licence afterwards.
Updates arrive through the updater built into the app, and every one of them is part of the subscription — there is no upgrade fee and nothing extra to buy. What changed in each release is a page rather than a promise.
